Tour Programme

Day 01: Airport – Negombo

  • Meet & greet at Colombo Airport

  • Transfer to Negombo (20 mins)

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Overnight: Jetwing Beach, Negombo or similar

Day 02: Negombo – Dambulla

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Drive to Dambulla (approx. 4 hrs)

  • Authentic Village Tour: bullock cart ride, catamaran boat, traditional mud house, and Sri Lankan lunch with locals

  • Overnight: Jetwing Lake Dambulla or similar

Day 03: Dambulla – Minneriya – Dambulla

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Afternoon 4x4 jeep safari at Minneriya National Park – famous for elephant gatherings (100–150 elephants)

Day 04: Habarana – Sigiriya – Matale – Kandy

  • Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO site)

  • Stop at Matale Spice Garden

  • Evening: Kandyan Cultural Show

Day 05: Kandy – Peradeniya – Kandy

Day 06: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

  • Scenic train journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (1st class, subject to availability)

Day 07: Nuwara Eliya (Full Day)

  • City tour of “Little England”

  • Highlights: Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, colonial heritage, Sita Amman Temple, local markets

Day 08: Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Yala

  • Scenic drive via Ella

  • Jeep Safari at Yala National Park – famous for leopards, elephants & birdlife

Day 09: Yala – Udawalawe

  • Visit Elephant Transit Home (orphaned baby elephants)

  • Jeep Safari at Udawalawe National Park – home to ~400 elephants

Day 10: Udawalawe – Galle – Colombo

Day 11: Colombo – Airport
